Econic™ is an Iconic-Economical solution for academics that are looking for a very low cost, high performance CCD USB spectrometer.  Econic™ is our stimulus package to Government Labs and Teaching Institutions who may not have the budget in these difficult economic times to purchase regularly priced spectrometers. 

Econic™ can only be purchased by Government Labs or Teaching Institutions.  This will need to be verified by having a Purchase Order from or shipping address to said Lab/Institution. 

Econic™ comes with a standard 90 day warranty period which is upgradeable to an additional 9 months for a total of 1 year of added protection.

Econic™ can be used for most UV/Vis/NIR applications and features three standard spectral configurations: 200nm - 400nm, 250nm – 950nm, and 350nm – 1050nm. 

Econic comes with a Standard Slit size of 25µm which will deliver a resolution of 1.5nm.  Additional slits are available as an upgrade and range from 10µm, 50µm, 100µm, 200µm.

The Econic™ spectrometer will come shipped with a USB cord and a BWSpec™ software CD which will also contain its User Manuals as well as those to our other products.  Econic™ and BWSpec™ are Windows PC Compatible.
